According to Matador Network, the Tail of the Dragon, also known as Deal's Gap, is widely considered to be one of the best motorcycle roads in America. The trail got its name because it resembles a dragon's tail. An 11-mile stretch of US Route 129, the Tail of the Dragon is said to contain over 300 curves, the sharpest of which has been given names such as Gravity Cavity and Copperhead Corner. Due to its intensity, the speed limit was actually reduced from 55 mph to 35 mph.

The name of these roads shouldn't be taken lightly. The Twisted Sisters are a group of incredible motorcycle roads in Texas: Ranch Roads 335, 336, and 337 in the Texas Hill Country. These roads aren't nearly as difficult as the Tail of the Dragon, however, they are not meant for amateurs. One 15-mile stretch is said to have over 65 curves.

Beartooth Highway has even seen snowstorms during the summertime.

PCH is a 123-mile stretch from Orange County to Mendocino County. PCH hugs around central California's coastline, making the route 123 miles of panoramic ocean views.
